Designer Note

AcquaChiara is the result of a life-long passion for fashion design. This passion started with designing bridal gowns from the young age of 10, grew during the time serving in the Italian Navy - with altering fellow cadet’s uniforms, during Covid – learning to hand sew corsets, pattern-making, cutting and how to use a sewing machine, and finally while working with two different fashion companies in Nairobi – deepening my technical and practical knowledge.

After working for and with other designers I realized that there wasn’t a better time to launch my own brand, which aims at creating timeless and classic designs that are perfect for all body types and ages, and versatile for every occasion.

My goal is to make our customer feel beautiful without having to renounce to comfort. With the growth of AcquaChiara, I aim at developing our production employing more Kenyan artisans.
